Irfan Kiani grew up in Rawalpindi and trained in classical music under Ustad Faiz Ahmed Khan. He developed his skills in songwriting and production under composer Wajid Ali Nashad, whose live film-industry recording sessions sparked Irfan's lasting interest in audio recording.
After completing a bachelor's degree in engineering from UET, he pursued music professionally alongside his sister, Hadiqa Kiani. His work brings together Eastern classical traditions, Western contemporary production, and a deep understanding of studio acoustics.
His recording method preserves the raw character and fine detail of traditional South Asian instruments, then integrates those performances with modern production.
